NYU Tisch 48-Hour Festival

The upcoming Tisch 48-Hour Festival will start next weekend, when participating groups of student film crews will have 48 hours to make a film, using criteria given to them 48 hours before the deadline. I will be scoring for two groups this year, which will be a little hectic but hopefully it’ll work. More details later.

Premiere of “Whiskey & Onions”

I feel it is a bit too late to be informing you all, but:

The premiere of “Whiskey & Onions”, a piece for solo violin and prepared piano written for NYU Tisch’s Second Avenue Dance Company, will take place on the 8th and 10th of December at 111 2nd Ave., New York City. It is included in a concert of fantastic dance pieces. The concert starts at 8pm.

I’ll post a concert recording of “Whiskey & Onions” on here soon.

Update

As you can tell by the date of the last post, it’s been a long time since I updated this website!

There are two things that will be updated soon:

  • Website design/images
  • Recent news/compositions

I will get on them right away, remember to check back soon!

Mixing and Mastering

I now have seven demos in my “Film/TV/Game Demos” set on my SoundCloud, but my work with them is not done yet. Fortunately SoundCloud has a “Replace file” option, so I can replace those files any time. The other day, I listened to the Van Helsing soundtrack and noticed how everything sounded so spread out, spaced and powerful. Listening to my own tracks, my music sounded more tight and cloudy in comparison. I will work to remix and remaster my tracks in the meantime. More on this later.
